What We Believe – Statement of
Faith
We Believe the Holy
Scriptures
The Bible is the
inspired Word of God written by holy
men of old who spoke and wrote as
they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
The New Covenant as recorded in the
New Testament is accepted as our
infallible guide in matters
pertaining to conduct and doctrine.
(2 Tim. 3:16, I Thes. 2:13; 2 Peter
1:21)
We Believe In God
God is one and has
eternally existed in three persons,
the Father, the Son, and the Holy
Spirit. (Phil. 2:6)
We Believe In Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of
the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin
birth, of His shed blood on Calvary
for the forgiveness of our sins, and
of His resurrection and ascension
into heaven and is sitting at the
right hand of God the Father. We
believe that He is the only way
through which we can receive
Salvation, Regeneration,
Righteousness, Sanctification and
Glorification. (1 Cor. 1:30-31)
We Believe In Salvation,
The New Birth And The Church
We believe that all who
receive Jesus Christ as Lord and
Savior in repentance by faith are
born-again, receive the New Birth,
(John 3:3-5; Acts 20:20-21; Rom. 1;
9-13), and Salvation is the gift of
God to man, separate from works and
laws, and is made operative by grace
through Faith in Jesus Christ, (Eph.
2:8), and the Church is comprised of
all true believers who have received
Salvation through Jesus Christ (Eph.
1:22-23), and we encourage believers
to find fellowship with a good bible
believing church (Heb. 10;25).
We Believe In Water
Baptism
We believe water baptism is
by immersion and is an ordinance of
the New Testament Church, and is to
be observed by all born-again
believers to acknowledge their
acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ
as their Lord and Savior. (Matt.
28:19; Rom. 6:4; Col. 2:12; Acts
8:36-39)
We Believe In The Baptism
In The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Baptism in
the Holy Spirit which is accompanied
by the initial evidence of speaking
in other tongues, and is a gift from
God as promised by the Lord Jesus
Christ to all believers in this
current dispensation and is
considered a second blessing
subsequent to Salvation and the New
Birth. (Matt. 3:11; John 14:16-17;
Acts 1:8, 2:4, 2:38-39 &
19:1-7)
We Believe In The
Gifts Of The Sprit And Divine Healing
We believe that the
spiritual gifts and the
manifestations of the Holy Spirit are
for the common good and the building
up of all believers today,
(1Cor12:7), and Divine Healing is
available to all believers for the
physical ills and sicknesses of the
body and is manifested by the power
of God by the laying on of hands, the
prayer of faith and anointing with
oil, by believing and acting on the
Word of God, through the gifts of the
Spirit. Healing is provided for in
the Atonement of Christ and is the
privilege of every believer and
member of the Church today. (Isa.
53:4-5, Matt. 8:17; Mark 11:23,
16:18; Acts 10:38, 19:11-12; Rom.
10:17; 1 Cor. 12:7-11; James 5:14-15;
1 Peter 2:24)
We Believe In The
Resurrection Of The Just And The
Second Coming Of Our Lord
We believe in the
resurrection of the just and the
unjust – one to everlasting life
and one to everlasting damnation
(Matt. 25:46 and the return of the
Lord Jesus Christ to the earth as
King of kings and Lord of lords.
(Acts 1:11; 1 Thes. 4:16-17) and we
believe it is a literal, physical
second return of the Lord Jesus
Christ……The
Messiah…….
We Believe In Hell And
The Lake Of Fire For Eternal
Retribution For Satan And All His
Fallen Angels
We believe that the one
who physically dies in their sins
without accepting Jesus Christ as
Lord and Savior is hopelessly and
eternally lost to cast into the Lake
of Fire with Satan and all the fallen
angels, and therefore; has no further
opportunity of hearing or accepting
the Gospel to repent. (Heb. 9:27;
Rev. 19:20)
